OpenLoop Achieves LegitScript Certification

We are thrilled to announce that our portfolio company, OpenLoop, has received the LegitScript Healthcare Merchant Certification. LegitScript is the global leader in monitoring and certifying high-risk products and services. The highly sought-after Healthcare Merchant Certification assures pharmacies that OpenLoop is a legitimate company and that transactions should be approved, while also indicating to consumers that OpenLoop operates legally and safely.

In order to become LegitScript certified, a company must prove they are properly licensed for their services, comply with state and federal regulations, and have an accurate physical address for their medical practitioners. The company’s website must also comply with pharmacy licensure, drug safety, and supply-chain laws, and any medical practitioners must be recognized in the patient’s jurisdiction unless otherwise allowed by law.

This certification demonstrates OpenLoop’s continual commitment to improving digital healthcare quality through its services and partnerships.
